The Unionville Theatre Company operates
a repertory company focused on young people that will through study,
performance, production and competition advance knowledge and
appreciation of theatre and the role it has played and continues to play
in our culture and tradition; such that each person involved with our
company participates in a learning experience that enhances their lives.
In order to deliver our stated values,
the Unionville Theatre Company expects that the administrators, creative
team, cast, crew and any other participants adhere to core values that
will permit a safe and enjoyable environment which is free from violence
and abuse of all kinds including, but not limited to, sexual harassment,
inappropriate physical contact, aggressive or intimidating behaviour and
inappropriate or unwarranted individual attention. To achieve this we
expect all members of the Unionville Theatre Company to...

Refrain from the consumption of or
to be under the influence of any substance (including alcohol,
prescription and non-prescription medication or chemical) that can
cause unwarranted behavioural changes;

Be professional, courteous
and cordial to fellow Company members and to the public at large,
both verbally and non-verbally;

Compliment others and, where
criticism is warranted, provide constructive comments;

Conduct
themselves with honesty and integrity;

Be courteous and respectful, and
not spread false or derogatory information about other members;

Not carry any instrument that may
be construed as a dangerous weapon unless it is required as a prop
or as a tool needed to complete a specific task;
Not, in reality, promote
or denigrate personal, political, or religious viewpoints while
participating with the Unionville Theatre Company

Not cause or participate in any
illegal activity as defined by Municipal, Provincial, or Federal law
while participating in a Company event.
